VETS & PETS AMERICA
Project Description
The Multimedia, Art, & Digital Design career major being a synthesis of the classical realistic old master studio atelier infused with state of the art digital technologies has chosen a community outreach and recycling theme coupled with industrial design for the 2023 Middlesex County Magnet Schools Tech Expo. The junior class has created an amazing project with a serious commitment dedicated to America’s disabled veterans and their service and emotional support animals. The student’s proposal concept focused on the design and creation of various lines of custom products for disabled veterans and their service and emotional support animals assisting in their daily lives where form and function can unite. The project is called VETS & PETS AMERICA and our first launch was to design, create, and market not only an entire company but our first product series which are custom raised animal feeders (for the health and convenience of the animals) which also function as the animal’s accessory travel cases convenient for veteran’s with disabilities to utilize. These were primarily produced out of 90% recycled materials. VETS & PETS AMERICA has been registered as a real official company/organization in the State of New Jersey with all legal trademarks, logos and mottos registered with the Library of Congress. Students fully developed VETS & PETS AMERICA as a company/organization from the ground up encompassing every aspect of the entrepreneurial process. VETS & PETS AMERICA'S goal and mission is to donate all products produced to America’s disabled veterans through various student created media such as: the VETS & PETS AMERICA website, external public relations, and social media pages in addition to working directly with various veteran’s organizations that wish to participate/partner with us. Our first launch of feeders/travel cases can be personalized for each and every veteran that applies through our various contact forum outlets and are completely free to any United States veteran with a service or support animal. This is our creative way to utilize all of our innovative skills to say THANK YOU and honor our brave veterans that have sacrificed so much for The United States of America.
A huge THANK YOU to the United States Army Soldiers of the East Brunswick, NJ Army Recruiting Center that were so generous with their time and attended the Middlesex County Magnet Schools East Brunswick Campus 2023 Tech Expo. A huge shout out to soldiers: Jacquitte, Champ and Holdan. Of course we can't forget the star of the day the amazing US Army Service Dog (Blake) for being so incredible and cooperative demonstrating VETS & PETS AMERICA's first product launch our Military Raised Dog Feeders available to any United States military veteran with a service/support animal.
