About UsMultimedia, Art, & Digital Design is a synthesis of traditional classical artistic foundations with current state of the art creative technologies. The course emphasizes traditional academic drawing, painting, layout, design, anatomy, and art history coupled with, multimedia computer skills, industrial design, digital illustration, digital photography, animation, and multiple disciplines' creative production processes.
Each student will have the opportunity to use tools and equipment in the multimedia art and digital design field and learn how to perform the operations of the multimedia art and design trade, including: the critique and reevaluation process, drawing, painting, art history, game design, mobile technologies, and animation. Instruction includes planning, setting, proofing, reading, mathematics, marking, and correcting documents and imagery. |
The course will include related theory of mathematics, science, literacy, and finance all related to the multimedia art and design trade. Here emphasis will be placed on the mastery of fundamental concepts and principals as well as the ability to solve practical and complex problems that may arise both traditional and technological. This related theory will help provide the foundation which makes the multimedia art and design shop work meaningful and functional.
It is expected that students will gain a well-rounded background of knowledge and experience in a variety of areas that the vast multimedia art and design industry touches upon. This will enable them to enter in post-secondary specialization and/or satisfactory employment upon completion of the course and prepare them for further training in the more advanced and professional phases of the multimedia art and digital design industry. |
